The art of amarena

An exhibition featuring the best works from the first three editions of the Fabbri Art Prize.  This was organized as part of the Firenze Gelato Festival, which took place in Florence last May.  For the event, Fabbri not only delighted participants with its delicious creations but also took part in an important event at Palazzo Pitti.
The exhibition featured painting, sculpture and photography from the 2005, 2007 and 2009 editions of the Fabbri Art Prize.  The works were by some of the most well-known Italian artists, including Luigi Ontani, Giosetta Fioroni, Omar Galliani, Aldo Mondino and Gioacchino Pontrelli, who interpreted the brand and its famous white and blue jar. This was a way to combine two fundamental aspects of Italian culture, namely art and culinary tradition, which have always been part of Fabbri’s DNA, as can be seen in its advertising campaigns from the end of the 1950s, featuring artists as famous as Guttuso, Capogrossi, Gentilini, Levi and Cagli.
